- ABC News tells us that Nassau County Executive Laura Curran has announced a new traveling vaccination program that will allow COVID-19 vaccinations at businesses and retail spots. (WABC-TV)
- CBS New York has the story on a controversial new Nassau County Legislature bill that will allow police officers to sue protesters who harass or injure them. Officers are now a protected class and penalties can be up to $50,000. (CBS New York)
- Reuters recaps the latest research on the Delta variant which is spreading rapidly as doctors study if it makes patients sicker. (Long Island Press)
- Alfonso A. Castillo has the details on Nassau County reinstating bus service to Jones Beach concerts. The Nassau Inter-County Express, or NICE Bus, will run directly to and from the Long Island Rail Road’s Freeport station and the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater 90 minutes before and after the shows.
