New Chat App Let Islanders' Fans Interact, Follow Team Information

GameOn Technology launched the technology to commemorate the Islanders' 50th anniversary.

ELMONT, NY — As the New York Islanders open their 50th season, they are partnering with a company to bring fans even more excitement.

GameOn Technology uses an artificial intelligence platform in launching the new fan engagement chat application.

The app features the latest scores, schedule updates and the ability to track your favorite players. Fans will also have the ability to connect the team directly.

All options are fully customizable, allowing the opportunity for endless combinations of highlights and news.

The app is available for free and can be accessed through Facebook Messenger.

"We are excited to be able to connect with our fans in real-time and share with them the latest information surrounding the team, Isles Lab, UBS Arena, and our 50th Anniversary celebrations,” said Simone Perrin, Vice President of Marketing for the Islanders.

The technology will also let fans explore UBS Arena, including information on club seating and premium suites.

GameOn Technology, based in San Francisco, developed the NHL's official app in 2019.
