1. Jeff Bessen has the details on a $3.3 million road and stormwater project in Inwood. The Town of Hempstead is asking for bids on the project, which will be funded through the Governor’s Office for Storm Recovery. (LI Herald)

2. Alex Costello reports that Nassau County passed a measure banning the smoking of marijuana in county parks. Lynbrook Republican Legislator Bill Gaylor sponsored the legislation and was quoted as saying, "No one wants to have to smell or be around marijuana at beautiful county park like Grant Park in Hewlett."
