Hewlett Point beach is closed to bathing due to bacteria. Protesters gathered at the Nassau County Executive's office to oppose the newly-passed bill that will allow Nassau Police to sue protesters. The VaxMobile hits 4,000 COVID-19 vaccinations as residents get ready for back to school requirements. And a missing Woodmere teenaged girl has been located.

- Jerry Barmash tells us that Hewlett Point beach closed to swimmers due to elevated bacteria levels on Friday. (Five Towns Patch)
- News 12 reported that protesters gathered outside County Executive Laura Curran's office yesterday asking for her to veto the new bill that allows police to sue protesters. Curran says she wants the New York State Attorney General to review the controversial bill. (News 12 Long Island)
- News 12 also talks to those in charge of Nassau's mobile vaccination VaxMobile which celebrated administering its 5,000th shot four months after the initiative begun. There's an uptick of people getting doses in time to be fully vaccinated for school reopening soon. The VaxMobile will be at Valley Stream Middle School on Monday. (News 12 Long Island)
- Jeff Bessen has a happy update to search for a missing Woodmere teen. 14-year-old Makaylah Adams, last seen on August 1, has been found. (LI Herald)
