MALVERNE, NY — A speedy, student-athlete has qualified for the New York State Track and Field Championship.
Malverne High School student Nicea Jones ran the 300-meter sprint at 41.33 seconds in a qualifying meet.
The state championships take place on March 5 on Staten Island.
