VALLEY STREAM, NY — One person died in a house fire on Tuesday morning in Valley Stream, police said. The Valley Stream Fire Department extinguished the flames and found an 18-year-old male inside the home on Keller Street, police said. The victim, Sarabraj Singh, 18 of India, was transported to an area hospital where he died, police said. One firefighter suffered minor injuries and was treated at a hospital. The cause is under investigation. The Fire Marshal as Arson Bomb Squad responded to the scene.
