Voter Registration Drive, Art Lecture

Here's some things coming up this week:

• The Southwest League of Women Voters will hold a voter registration drive in the parking lot of the Inwood Stop & Shop on Tuesday starting at 10 a.m. 
• This week's Hewlett-Woodmere School events: HHS PTA Meeting on Monday at 9:30 a.m.; Woodmere Middle School Back to School Night on Monday at 7 p.m.
• This week's Lawrence School events: Number Two School PTA Meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m.; high school PTA meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.; 
• The Lawrence Golden Tornadoes will play Sewanhaka on Saturday on 1:30 p.m.
• The Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library Board of Trustees will meet on Monday at 9:30 a.m. The friends of the library will meet on Thursday at 2:45 p.m.
• The Peninsula Publicy Library will hold Illustrated Art Lecture: What Makes a Masterpiece? on Monday at 1 p.m.
