Beloved Forest Hills Pizzeria Reopens After Months Of Renovations

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — A beloved Forest Hills pizza shop reopened this week after months of renovations.

Due Fratelli, a pizzeria located at 101-16 Queens Boulevard, reopened on Wednesday after shuttering in late-August for renovations, a representative told Patch.

The pizzeria, which is also known for serving up other Italian-style pasta dishes and salads, will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.

Most neighbors in Forest Hills were overjoyed to hear the news, which was also posted on a local Facebook group this week.

"That’s the best news I’ve heard in quite a while," wrote one, who said they think the spot serves up the "best pizza in the neighborhood."

Many others echoed words of excitement and praise, though a few criticized the shop's service.

"Hopefully that nasty worker changes his attitude [because] I love their pizza," wrote one, echoing other complaints about the shop's workers and management which have come up in local threads in the past.

Among the two-dozen-plus comments, however, most were positive, with neighbors celebrating the shop's return.
