The festival will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Austin Street, according to Clearview Productions.

FOREST HILLS, NY — Labor Day may be the unofficial end of summer, but there is still fun to be had before the fall season starts Sept. 22.

On Sept. 18, the Forest Hills Festival will be back from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Austin Street between 69th and 72nd streets, according to Robert Ashe, the director of operations at Clearview Productions, a company that organizes block festivals.

"There is a concert by the Bartlett Contemporaries," Ashe told Patch. "They are an R&B and pop group."

There will also be bouncy houses and other kids rides and games at the event too, Ashe added.

The Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce, which is hosting the event, is encouraging more vendors to sign up for the event to display their goods because they will be able to showcase their services or products to thousands of people at the fair.
