FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Two people beat an older man with a gun and robbed him of jewelry and about $1,000 cash at a Forest Hills subway station, according to the NYPD.

The 63-year-old man was leaving the 75th Avenue subway station about 8 p.m. Wednesday when two people walked up to him and pulled out a gun, police said.

The assailants repeatedly bashed the man in the head with the weapon and stole a watch, jewelry and about $1,000 cash from him before fleeing the station, according to the NYPD.

The violent robbery left the man with cuts on his head, police said.

First responders rushed to the station and took the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to the NYPD.

Police released a surveillance photo of one of the robbers and said the assailants are still on the loose as of Thursday night.
