Man Robs Forest Hills 7-Eleven Worker At Gunpoint, Police Say
The gunpoint robbery in Forest Hills happened days after a similar incident in Rego Park, where a man robbed a deli worker at gunpoint.

FOREST HILLS, QUEENS — Police are searching for a man who they say threatened a Forest Hills 7-Eleven employee at gunpoint and stole $400 from the shop on Monday morning.
Early in the morning on Nov. 10, around 5:56 a.m., a man dressed in red walked into a 7-Eleven located at 103-01 Queens Boulevard and approached a worker standing behind the counter. The man then pulled out a gun and demanded that the worker give him cash, according to the NYPD.
The worker agreed, handing over $400 in cash, which the man took and ran away with, police reported, adding that no one was hurt during the robbery.

The incident mirrors a situation that happened in Rego Park last Sunday, where a man — who was wearing a red sweatsuit and black jacket — threatened a deli worker at gunpoint and stole $1,500 from the shop.
A police spokesperson told Patch that she doesn't know if the robberies were connected, since this is an "ongoing investigation."
