Man Steals $1.5K In Gunpoint Robbery At Rego Park Deli: NYPD
The man walked into the deli on Sunday and threatened a deli worker at gunpoint before stealing cash from the register, police said.
REGO PARK, QUEENS — Police are searching for a man who they say threatened a Rego Park deli worker at gunpoint and stole $1,500 from the shop on Sunday.
On the afternoon of Nov. 7, around 2:00 p.m., a man walked into a deli located at 92-32 Queens Boulevard and approached a worker standing behind the counter. The man then pulled out a gun and demanded that the worker give him cash, according to the NYPD.
The worker agreed, handing over $1,500 in cash, which the man took and ran away with, police reported, adding that no one was hurt during the robbery.

The following day, NYPD officials released a photo of the man who stole from the deli.

As of Tuesday, Nov. 9, however, no arrests have been made and the case remains under investigation, according to police.
