Thief Raids Storage Units In Kew Gardens: Police
Police are looking for a man who nabbed items from basement storage lockers in two Kew Gardens buildings on Sunday.

KEW GARDENS, QUEENS — Police are looking for a man who nabbed items from two storage units in Kew Gardens over the weekend.
The thief first struck just after midnight Sunday, when he managed to get into the basement of a residential building near Lefferts Boulevard and Metropolitan Avenue and take $100 worth of power tools from a locked storage unit, the NYPD said in a news release.
About two hours later, surveillance cameras recorded the same man go into the basement of a building near Talbot Street and 84th Avenue and rob another locked storage locker, according to police.

Police didn't specify what was stolen from the second storage unit.
The NYPD released images of the suspect Thursday, described as a man about 40 to 50 years old.
