16-Year-Old Boy Killed At Brooklyn Public Housing Complex

BROOKLYN, NY — A 16-year-old boy named Taearion Mungo was shot to death at a Fort Greene public housing complex on Saturday night, New York City Police Department officials said.

Mungo was shot in the chest just before midnight on Saturday at the Witman Houses on Auburn Place, NYPD officials said.

Emergency responders rushed the victim to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the police.

As of Monday morning, police have not made any arrests.
