FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — Visitors to Fort Greene Park will be able to enjoy at least five more years of free wifi, the Parks Department announced Tuesday.
The service, provided by AT&T, has been running in multiple parks since 2011, according to the Parks Department, with visitors logging on 8.6 million times since then.
The coverage in Fort Greene Park extends around the Prison Ship Martyr's Monument and the adjacent visitor's center, both in the middle of the park (nearest the park entrance at the intersection of Washington Park and Willoughby Avenue).
