A landing page for the new location on Alamo's website says only: "Downtown Brooklyn. Opening Summer 2016."
Eater New York reported Tuesday that "the theater will feature seven screens with both independent films and blockbusters and a full food and drink menu, including cocktails and local beers."

This will be Alamo's first outpost in NYC. The company hasn't revealed its Brooklyn menu yet, but menu items at existing locations include brussel sprout, smoked bason and goat cheese pizza; mini banh mi hot dogs; fried-egg BLTs; and hatch green chili mac & cheese.
The location in Brooklyn will also reportedly serve locally brewed beers.
Alamo Drafthouse founder and CEO Tim League promised two years ago that "the City Point Brooklyn Alamo will be our best theater yet."
Also opening this spring/summer within the City Point complex will Century 21, Target and Trader Joe’s, according to the Commercial Observer. Then, in fall, we'll see the DeKalb Market Hall — a 30,000-square-foot food court with dozens of big-name vendors, including Katz's Deli — open its doors, along with retail shops on City Point's ground floor.
