Fort Greene Entrepreneurs Honored For Innovative Spirit

Fort Greene residents Steve Larosiliere, co-founder of Stoked, a nonprofit organization helping underserved kids succeed through sports, and Alessandra Lariu of She Says, a creative network for women around the world, received scholarships from Bloomberg Businessweek for their focus on innovation and community.

The two participated in the first-ever DO Lectures USA last week in California, joining other progressively-minded leaders hoping to revolutionize the way business is conducted throughout the world.

Larosiliere and Lariu were among six emerging business leaders selected by Bloomberg Businessweek based on their innovative work in their fields and their commitment to promoting leadership with the global community and those in need.
