As of Friday noon, representatives of the operator of Barclays Center, Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment, were keeping mum on the latest development.
The Bed-Stuy native is a part-owner of the Nets and a longtime advocate of moving the team from its current home at the Prudential Center in Newark to Brooklyn.
Back in March, a spokesman for the Nets announced that would go on sale in the fall. The luxury boxes range in price from $215,000 to $450,000.
