The CCRB is aware of numerous allegations of police misconduct from this weekend. Since Friday, we have received more than 430 complaints.
Last week's court decision ( https://sable.madmimi.com/c/99... ) changed the law on who can file a complaint with the CCRB. **If you see what you believe to be NYPD misconduct on social media, in the news, or elsewhere, you can file a complaint, and our office will open an investigation. Please contact us at 1-800-341-CCRB or https://sable.madmimi.com/c/99... ( https://sable.madmimi.com/c/99... )**. We will thoroughly and impartially investigate allegations under our jurisdiction ( https://sable.madmimi.com/c/99... ). This includes allegations of excessive use of force, abuse of authority, discourteous language or gestures, and offensive language.

As a reminder, you do not need to have an officer's name/badge number to file a complaint. Under the law, the CCRB has access to resources-such as body-worn camera video, surveillance video, and command logs-that our investigators can use to ID a member of the NYPD who was on the scene.
