Brooklyn’s First Dave And Buster’s Coming To Atlantic Ave.

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — The borough is likely getting its first of the popular sports and gaming bar chain Dave and Buster’s, records show.

The Dallas-based restaurant chain has applied for a liquor license for a property at 625 Atlantic Ave., found in the Atlantic Center Mall across from the Barclays Center. The liquor license application is set to face Community Board 2’s Health Environment and Social Services Committee next week.

The address is found near the Old Navy and Marshall's stores in the mall, two of several large chain retailers found in the few blocks near Atlantic Terminal's transit hub.

A representative for Dave and Buster’s did not immediately return a request for details about what the new location will include. It is not yet listed on the “coming soon” locations in the chain’s website.

It would be the first location for the Dave and Buster’s in Brooklyn and the third in New York City, according to the website. Dave and Buster’s, which is famous for its arcade area and cheap eats, has a location in Times Square and on Staten Island.

There are 135 locations across the country.

The liquor license will need to face the full Community Board after its committee meeting on Monday and will ultimately need to be approved by the State Liquor Authority.
