Colonia Verde Restaurant Launches Sunday Asados Garden Party This Weekend
There will be grilling on the Colonia Verde patio this Sunday when the restaurants hosts its first garden party of the year.

FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — Sunday Asados will return to Fort Greene this weekend when a renowned Mexican chef takes over the patio and garden of Colonia Verde, restaurant owners have announced.
Colonia Verde — a Latin American restaurant in Fort Greene whose decor earned a nod from the James Beard Foundation — will launch its annual garden party series on April 30 with guest chef Alfredo Villanueva of Romero y Azahar in Monterrey, Mexico.
Villanueva is one of seven chefs the restaurant owners will invite onto the patio for a monthly event that runs between April and October. The full Sunday Asados line-up has not been announced but the dates have been set on the restaurant’s website.

Villanueva and the owners of Ray Smith Studios will host the dinner party at 219 Dekalb Ave. between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., organizers said.
Tickets cost $59.88 and include food, wine and beer and are available on EventBrite.com.
