FAB, PACC to Hold Events For Small Businesses
Networking, workshops and entrepreneur programs are being made available for prospective and existing small businesses in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

The Fulton Area Business Alliance (FAB) and the Pratt Area Community Council (PACC) are making available networking events, workshops and programs for small businesses in the coming weeks, giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to grow in the Fort Greene and Clinton Hill area.
From 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Sat., April 20, PACC will host a 'Rolling Up The Gates (RUG) Storefront Stroll' to show 10 vacant storefronts along Fulton Street in Fort Greene, Clinton Hill and Bedford Stuyvesant.

The guided tour on 'Molly the Trolley' is intended for existing and prospective tenants interested only and not for brokers, PACC wrote on its event page. "PACC will not negotiate or otherwise communicate with brokers concerning any leases, and PACC will not be responsible for the payment of any commissions or other fees to brokers in connection with any leases entered into pursuant to this program," PACC wrote.
Registration will take place from 9:30-10 a.m. at PACC's ofice at 896-900 Fulton St., 2nd floor. Molly the Trolley will leave from the office at 10 a.m. To purchase a seat on the trolley, click here.

Then, at 6 p.m. on Tues., April 23, FAB is hosting a networking and workshop in Clinton Hill for small businesses. The event will focus on social media and panelists will discuss how to decide if the tool can take small businesses to the next level, or if it is just a big waste of time and money.
Panelists include Petia Bradshaw, a social media expert with eMail Marketing, and Justin Cauley, a business strategist, author and social media expert.
The free event, packed with drinks, appetizers, information and people worth knowing, will be held at Belli Osteria at 860 Fulton St. near Clinton Avenue in Clinton Hill. No reservation is required. Click here for more information.
