The urgent care clinic also has three locations in Manhattan.

CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — An urgent care facility is expanding to Brooklyn with its first location coming to Clinton Hill in the New Year. The new MedRite Urgent Care Center will open on Myrtle Avenue.

MedRite Urgent Care already has three outposts in Manhattan, two in midtown and one on the lower east side, but the Clinton Hill space will be the first in Brooklyn. The company also has locations in Rockland County, N.Y. and Florida.

An official grand opening date hasn't been announced yet, but will be in early 2019, the company said.

MedRite aims to offer medical care to those who cannot always make the 9 to 5 office hour model. Its clinics offer walk-in and same-day availability and can treat for most minor and serious non-fatal injuries and illnesses as well as preventative, pediatric, and occupational medical services, according to its website.

The Brooklyn location will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on the weekends.

"Once you’ve experienced the quality and convenience of MedRite Urgent Care Center you’ll wonder why all medical care isn’t this easy," the company said.
