Fort Greene Bar 'Until Tomorrow,' Featuring Cocktails And Comfort Food, Has Grand Opening
While you're there, get some alcoholic punch and munch on al pastor-style sloppy joe's.
FORT GREENE-CLINTON HILL, BROOKLYN — Until Tomorrow, a new "casual, neighborhood" cocktail bar, had its grand opening on Myrtle Avenue Wednesday night. Fort Greene and Clinton Hill residents are going to want to go there for some fancy cocktails, some comfort food pairings and a relaxed, neighborly atmosphere. The food is by executive chef Dave Ralston, who used to cook at Blue Hill New York and Luksus, and the cocktails are by beverage director Rob Giles, who was previously at Erv's on Beekman.
The food menu features sloppy joes (al pastor style), curried chicken fajitas and a hot Italian sausage corn dog. Cocktails include something called "The Altered Beast," a play on "Jungle Juice," a punch that rotates during weekday happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. Happy hour will also feature $10 cocktails like the "Dirty Boi" with Ford’s gin, tomatillo sangrita, olive brine, apricot Eau de Vie, Dolin dry vermouth, and salt and pepper; the "Yo, Make It Strong" with Illegal Mezcal, cynar, Cocchi Torino, Lustau Emilio PX, Oloroso sherry, Black Strap rum and orange bitters.
