Fort Greene's Hudson Jane Cafe Evicted From Myrtle Ave.
The restaurant, which opened two years ago, has been evicted from its corner spot and deleted all of its social media accounts.
FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — It isn't clear if it is gone for good, but the all-day cafe Hudson Jane has been forced out of its spot on the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Aldelphi Street.
The restaurant was recently evicted from its spot at 360 Myrtle Avenue, where it has been since it opened in the summer of 2017. An eviction warrant for the business was carried out on Feb. 5, the city's Department of Investigation confirmed Thursday.
The details surrounding the eviction, or if the business plans to open elsewhere, are not yet clear, but it appears the restaurant has also started erasing its online presence.

Hudson Jane was opened by Megan Johnson and Jen Laporta, a couple who first met when Johnson was working as a sous-chef at a wine bar in Greenwich Village where Laporta was a regular. The cafe the couple opened years later is named after the street corner where they shared their first kiss, according to a profile on Myrtle Avenue Partners.
Johnson was the executive chef for the business and Laporta acted as the director of operations.
"The cuisine is made up of Chef Megan’s unique take on the comforting dishes from various cuisines that make America such a diverse country," the Myrtle Avenue profile reads. "The married couple treats Hudson Jane as an extension of their home, offering diners an intimate, welcoming vibe."
