Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries, D-Brooklyn, will make an announcement this weekend at Brooklyn Borough Hall about his political future, according to a post on his Facebook page.

Though the exact nature of the announcement was not clear, Jeffries set up last spring looking into a possible run for the Congressional seat currently held by Edolphus "Ed" Towns, D-Brooklyn.
