Hungry Ghost Opening New Spot In Fort Greene Food Hall
The local coffee-chain will open a new spot inside the Gotham Market at the Ashland, after the hall shuttered more than half of its vendors.

FORT GREENE, NY — The Brooklyn-based coffee-chain Hungry Ghost plans to take over space inside a Fort Greene food market that shuttered more than half of its vendors earlier this year.
Hungry Ghost will open their third location in the neighborhood in the Gotham Market at the Ashland, 590 Fulton St., later this year, a spokeswoman for the owner said. The spot will be the company's first all-day shop.
The Gotham Market first opened in 2017 on the ground-floor of the luxury high rise The Ashland, but nixed four of their six eateries nearly a year after opening, including anchor-tenant the Mason Jar.
