Jan. 18: A Music Festival Grows in Fort Greene
Duo from indie rock band The National to curate Crossing Brooklyn Ferry at BAM.

Update, 6:35 p.m.: A BAM representative informs us that the lineup for Crossing Brookyn Ferry has NOT been officially announced. Stay tuned, fans.
1. Fans of live music got a rare treat yesterday as word came down about The National's Bryce and Aaron Dessner's new festival-cum-dance party and film screening, Crossing Brooklyn Ferry. Running May 3-5 at Brooklyn Academy of Music's Peter Jay Sharp building on Lafayette Avenue, the festival promises performances by St. Vincent, Sharon Von Etten and Phish's Trey Anastasio, among others.
2. The will take place at the Connecticut Muffin on Lafayette at 8 a.m. Participants are asked to bring plenty of business cards.
