1. While it's true that there's a great deal of activity in Albany regarding , rent regulations and other unresolved state business — there are also plenty of negotiations currently underway at City Hall. Check back with Patch for updates on the budget situation at the city level, including the fate of that suddenly has found itself potentially on the chopping block. 

2. The city's rent control laws are set to expire this month. If you are part of the 64 percent of New Yorkers who live in a rent regulated apartment, join Pratt Area Community Council for outside Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office in Midtown to demand the laws be extended and strengthened. 

3. If you haven't made it to the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Art, also known as MoCADA, be sure to check it out. Word on the street is that the relatively new and growing arts institution will be getting bigger digs sometime soon...
