The Kickstarter Summer Festival Takes Over Fort Greene Park Saturday
The Kickstarter Festival will bring successfully crowdfunded projects to Fort Greene Park on Saturday.

FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — Fort Greene Park will host the Kickstarter Summer Festival on Saturday, bringing crowdfunded creators out to meet the public that has so generously funded their DIY dreams.
The festival will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. near the park's Prison Ship Martyrs' Monument. It's a free event, and no tickets or RSVPs are needed.
Dozens of Kickstarter-funded entrepreneurs will be on hand to showcase their work. Among them:

- In the games category, you'll be able to participate in a live "escape the room" puzzle solving adventure courtesy of 59:59 Room Escape, and try your hand at a round of Exploding Kittens.
- Food will be served by Brewla Craft Ice Pops, La Sonrisa Empanadas and Mamu Thai Noodle Truck.
- There will be a musical performance by Fashawn, dinosaurs you can assemble by hand courtesy of Boneyard Pets, and an interactive light installation called HYBYCOZO that was part of last year's Burning Man.
