Kids Film Festival Hits BAM This Weekend
The youngsters take over the borough's premiere arts institution.

It turns out those kids are alright, after all.
This weekend, will play host to 73 films from no less than 23 countries—many of which are getting their world premiere in front of a lucky, if not underage, Brooklyn audience.
Highlights of the include Let’s Play!, an energetic and whimsical shorts program where Sandpixies mingle with Swedish meatballs; The Star Talers based on a Brothers Grimm fairy tale; and Oran Etkin’s Timbalooloo, a boisterous performance by jazz-world music ensemble.

BAMkids Film Festival opens its doors at BAM Rose Cinemas on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
