The city Department of Sanitation readied its mostly unused () fleet of plows and salt spreaders ahead of a storm expected to drop about an inch of slushy snow across the five boroughs starting Wednesday morning.
DSNY will continue to monitor forecasts and will provide updates as the storm approaches.
