Man Shot Outside Supermarket on Dekalb

A man was shot outside a C-Town Supermarket on Dekalb Avenue and Taaffe Place Thursday morning.

According to eyewitnesses at the scene, two shots rang out just after 9:30 a.m. sending police officers from the 79th Precinct scrambling to locate the suspect, who remains at large.

The man, described by an eyewitness as a college student carrying a backpack, was transported in an ambulance to an unknown hospital. According to police, his injuries are not life-threatening.
