Downtown Brooklyn Subway Groper Touched Woman on Escalator: NYPD
The 20-year-old victim was exiting the Jay Street-MetroTech station via escalator when the suspect approached her from behind, police say.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, NY — Police are looking for a man who allegedly groped a woman during afternoon rush hour on March 9 while the two exited the busy Jay Street-MetroTech subway station.
The 20-year-old victim was on the station's escalator around 5:30 p.m., police said, when the suspect approached her from behind and touched her buttocks. The suspect then fled the area.

Detectives describe the suspect as between 30 and 35 years old and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a sleeveless vest, blue jeans, a black ski cap, a gold chain and a red sweater, according to the NYPD.
