Michelle Obama Will Come Back To Barclays Center By Fan Demand
The former first lady just added more cities nationwide to her book tour, including another stop in Brooklyn.

FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — If you missed Michelle Obama's sold-out show at the Barclays Center the first time around, there's good news. The former First Lady will return by popular demand to the Brooklyn arena for a second show next week.
"Due to overwhelming fan demand, a second show in Brooklyn has been added to Michelle Obama’s live U.S. book tour on Dec. 19," Barclays announced on its website.
Earlier this month Obama spoke to a sold-out crowd of more than 14,000 people at the arena. She discussed her time in the White House and got candid about marriage, even letting a swear slip.

Obama also announced more than two dozen additional tour dates in the new year due to the popularity of the tour for her book "Becoming," which has sold more than 3 million copies in America and Canada alone, according to People magazine.
Obama told the magazine she “couldn’t be more excited” to visit even more cities across the globe on her book tour, “Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama.”

“I’ve been so humbled by the response to the tour thus far and the overwhelming interest we’ve received from so many communities we weren’t able to visit this year,” she said. “That’s why I’m thrilled that we’re able to expand our conversations to these new settings and wider audiences. I can’t wait to continue the discussions that have been so meaningful for me and, I hope, for so many others.”
