Mother Stabs Son During Argument
For any errant sons or daughters out there, it's the ultimate cautionary tale: On Sunday afternoon, Shaenneth Phillip-Horne, 42, stabbed her son with a kitchen knife at their Clinton Avenue home during an argument over whether his sister could be in the same room while he had company. Phillip-Horne's son was sent to Kings County Hospital, where he was treated for a stab wound to his left arm.

A teen went to the mat for his smartphone Tuesday afternoon, sparking a brawl on Greene Avenue. It all began when two men demanded the teen hand over his BlackBerry. After refusing, he gave the phone to a friend and took on the two men, one of whom knocked the teen to the ground, kicking him in the head and shattering his glasses. The brawl ended with the victim telling his friend to hand over the BlackBerry to the two men, who fled the scene.
MacBook Stolen From Parked Car

Police were reviewing surveillance footage for clues into the theft of a MacBook and other accessories valued at $2,728 from a parked car on Steuben Street in Clinton Hill Thursday. The owner of the laptop computer admitted that he may have left the car unlocked.
Another Kind Of Smoking Hazard
A man snatched a purse belonging to a woman smoking a cigarette outside a bodega on Classon and Lafayette on Saturday. The suspect was last seen sprinting westbound on Lafayette.
Wallet Stolen On B41
A woman traveling to Atlantic Terminal via the B41 bus discovered her bag open and wallet missing. She claims her bag was closed and on her shoulder while she was on the bus.
