New Trader Joe's Opening in Brooklyn Next Year
Within the massive City Point development on Dekalb Avenue.

Brooklyn’s third and most centralized Trader Joe’s — after the one currently open in Cobble Hill and the one set to open in Williamsburg — will make its home in Downtown Brooklyn’s under-construction City Point development, reports say.
The 13,700-square-foot grocery store will reportedly sit on the concourse level (lower level) of the new mall, near the much-anticipated Dekalb Market Hall food court.
Both the Trader Joe’s and the food court will open in 2016.

“We couldn’t see a better match for the fresh food in the market hall as Trader Joe’s has the ability to cut across so many demographics and we will attract people from all the various neighborhoods,” Paul Travis of Washington Square Partners, one of the developers, told the New York Post.
If nothing else, perhaps it will relieve the grocery-aisle gridlock at the Trader Joe’s located a few blocks away on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Court Street.
