FORT GREENE, BROOKLYN — From the inside of the Prison Ship Martyrs Monument in Fort Greene Park, to a peak at furniture designers and sculpture architects at the Brooklyn Navy Yard — dozens of neighborhood spots will open up to the public for a city-wide open house event this weekend.

The nonprofit Open House New York will host tours of more than 250 historic sites across the five boroughs for the 17th year this weekend, with tours set up Friday morning through Sunday evening.

Nearly 60 of the spots on this year's tour roster are in Brooklyn, including more than a dozen in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

This year's neighborhood spots include a sneak peek inside the 1908 monument that stands in the center of Fort Greene Park, a look at several spaces around the Brooklyn Navy Yard and tours of a historic 19th-century church in Clinton Hill.
