Police Looking for Suspect in Robbery on St. James Place

Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a robbery last Tuesday in Clinton Hill.

According to reports, on Tuesday, February 26, at approximately 2:00 p.m., a 24-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of Saint James Place and Clifton Place when a man approached her from behind, grabbed her around the torso, grabbed her iPhone and then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 20 years old, 6 feet, with black hair. He was last seen wearing a knit hat and a black North Face jacket (see above photo of suspect).
