POLL: Clinton Hill Filmmaker Stokes Controversy With YouTube Video

'Sh—t Black Girls Say' has gone viral.

A new comedy short made by Clinton Hill resident Elijah "EK" Griffin is taking the Internet by storm, courtesy of YouTube.

But not everyone is laughing.

'Sh—t Black Girls Say,' inspired by the spoof 'Sh—t Girls Say' which made the Internet rounds earlier this year, is a three-minute collection of clips consisting of a male actor in drag making statements supposedly attributable to African-American women.

However, according to a story in today's Daily News, the short film has inspired almost as much controversy as laughs.

“While those images are funny to those of us who are well- educated, some young people don’t know how to filter the message,” Brooklyn Young Mothers' Collective founder Benita Miller told the News.
