Residents, Visitors Take to Fowler Pedestrian Plaza: [PHOTOS]
Despite grey skies, Fort Greene's newest public space already looks to be a big hit.
, Fort Greene’s newest gathering place made its debut last weekend.
And judging from the reaction of a scattering of lunchtime visitors, Fowler Square Pedestrian Plaza looked to be getting off to a great start.
“It’s beautiful. It seems more like Manhattan than Brooklyn,” said Jocelin, a resident of East New York, sitting at one of the plaza’s muted orange tables.

Not far away, Ridgewood resident Jonathan sat with his baby daughter, Bella, on one of the city’s new metal benches just a few away from where cars adjacent to Fowler Square.
“There’s nothing like this where we live,” he said.
