Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued
Storms could produce damaging hail and strong winds.
The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Brooklyn and the rest of the five boroughs as a line of strong storms approached the city.
Hail and strong winds in excess of 60 mph are possible with this storm, according to NWS.
The warning is in effect until 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
