SNEAK PEEK: Brooklyn Tap House

Though it may wreak havoc on many a waistline and induce people of vastly different political persuasions to talk loudly about—what else?—politics, Brooklyn's love affair with brewsky, grog, draft, the 'cold one,' or just plain-old beer, continues.

The neighborhood's soon-to-be-latest entry, at 590 Myrtle Ave. at Taaffe Place, offers no less than 40 beers on tap—with the option of expanding to a cool 100.

In a phone conversation Nov. 10, one of the owner's told Patch that though the menu was still "in the works," the beer seemed ready to flow.

An opening date hasn't been announced.
