Drug-Addled SUV Driver Kills E-Bike Rider In Clinton Hill Crash: NYPD
A Bed-Stuy woman stands accused of slamming into an e-bike rider then speeding off with his body pinned under her wheels, police say.

BROOKLYN, NY — A woman accused of smashing an SUV into an e-bike rider Wednesday while driving unlicensed and on drugs has been charged in the biker's death, police said.
Rachel Golden, 45, faces criminal charges for slamming her Toyota Venza into Andrew Thomas, 33, at Classon Avenue and Clifton Place about 1:15 p.m., police said.
Thomas, who had stopped at the traffic light, went flying from his scooter and landed under the wheels of the SUV, police said.

Golden sped off down Classon Avenue, dragging Thomas under her car, according to police.
Thomas, of Sunnyside in Queens, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later died, police said.

Golden, of Bed-Stuy, was arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter, operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, and a motor vehicle license violation (driving without a license), police said.
The NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad is still investigating the incident, according to police.
