The Early Word: Camping in Fort Greene Park
Registration for annual overnight event set to begin.

1. It's that time of year again, folks. Registration to select the lucky 30 families allowed to campout in Fort Greene Park will open on July 18. The Urban Park Rangers-sponsored campout, set for the night of July 27-28, is one of several around the city—including two outdoor events in Prospect Park this summer. 2. Still waiting to see Ridley Scott's cinematic return to the otherworldly horror genre? Well, don't fret—there's still time to check out Prometheus in 3D right here in our own backyard. BAM Rose Cinemas, 30 Lafayette Ave. Fri.-Sun., 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. $15 general admission.
