The Early Word: Cheek by Jowl Returns to BAM

British theater company sinks its teeth into Jacobean drama in U.S. premiere next month.

1. The edgy Brits behind last year's Macbeth will return to Brooklyn Academy of Music's Harvey Theater in March with a new production of John Ford's Jacobean drama, "'Tis Pity She's a Whore." As the name suggests, the play more than just dabbles in the controversial—it dives right in, with a story centering on the incestuous love between a brother and sister that, you guessed it, ends really, really badly for everyone involved. BAM Harvey Theater, 651 Fulton St. March 20-31. Tickets start at $25 and are available here.

2. Join the folks at The Greene Grape for their weekly wine event featuring a select wine of the week plus a treat from GG Provisions to pair. The Greene Grape, 765 Fulton St. 6 p.m.

3. Boston-based restaurateur and chocolatier Charlotte Silver presents her new memoir, "Charlotte Au Chocolat: Memoirs of a Restaurant Girlhood." Greenlight Bookstore, 686 Fulton St. 7:30 p.m.
