But this winter seems anything but normal. So as the mercury flirted with 60 degrees this February afternoon, we decided to take a break and quench our springlike-thirst with something cold for a change.

Today's pick comes from Greene Grape Annex, an outpost of specialty food seller that in a small space next to on Fulton Street.

Our barista recommended the Annex's cold brew made with Billysburg-roasted Blue Bottle Coffee. Warning: This brew is wicked strong—which serves this java-addicted news editor just fine. Others may prefer theirs light and sweet.
