The Secret Sipper: La Colombe Espresso at Bittersweet

So it is with our Friday choice of beverage, a double shot espresso using La Colombe Nizza blend coffee, slowly sipped while surfing the WiFi at Bittersweet on Dekalb Avenue. 

Taken straight, with no foam or milky underlayer, La Columbe's deeply roasted coffee beans serve up a flavor that is strong, yet smooth and not overly acidic. It's a drink perfectly tailored to the recently renovated confines of Bittersweet—a place perhaps best known in the neighborhood for serving up freshly baked Balthazar bread.

The double shot La Colombe espresso is $2.75. A single shot is $2.
