Watch: Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams Does the Stanky Legg

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams made a (sort of) surprise appearance onstage at this year’s Stars of New York Dance children’s charity event thing in Downtown Brooklyn, and the resulting dance party was, in a word, adorable.

First, Adams made a pretty silly attempt to dance the Whip/Nae Nae, a Georgia-born dance much more artfully performed by NYPD Officer James Ferrazzo at a Bed-Stuy block party last summer.

But we’ll forgive our borough president for his Whip/Nae Nae, because, um, check out his Stanky Legg. (Below.)

He’s like the Hotline Bling-era Drake of municipal politicians. Don’t you just want to hug him and dance dorky with him and invite him over for Thanksgiving dinner and stick his White House 2020 campaign sign on your lawn?
