West Coast Visitor Pushed Onto G Line Subway Tracks

Victim, 24, beaten and robbed at Clinton-Washington Av station.

Police gave details of an early morning attack that sent a California man onto the subway tracks at Clinton-Washington Av "G" line station in Clinton Hill.

The incident began at approximately 2:20 a.m. last Wednesday when the victim, described by police as a 24-year-old man visiting New York from Los Angeles, noticed three black males in their 20s walk behind him on the Queens-bound platform.

Shortly after, according to police, a fourth suspect pushed the man onto the tracks, with two others jumping after him. Police said one of the suspects then punched the man in the face multiple times, stealing the victim's iPhone and wallet.

The suspect fled through the Washington Avenue side of the platform, according to police.

Police said the victim planned to return to L.A. last Thursday. No arrests have been made.
